Colors in Italian (I Colori)
In Italian, adjectives usually change their endings to match the gender (masculine or feminine) and number (singular or plural) of the noun they describe.
Basic Color Rules
- Adjectives ending in -o (like rosso) have four forms: rosso (masculine singular), rossa (feminine singular), rossi (masculine plural), and rosse (feminine plural).
- Adjectives ending in -e (like verde or blu) have only two forms: one for singular (ending in -e) and one for plural (ending in -i).

Common Mistake: Remember that in Italian, colors usually come after the noun they describe, unlike in English!
