Mekanlar ve Yer Edatları (Prepositions of Place)
A2 seviyesinde bir şehirde yönümüzü bulmak ve mekanları tarif etmek için bazı önemli yer edatlarına ihtiyacımız var. Bu derste opposite (karşısında), between (…arasında) ve round the corner (köşeyi dönünce / köşede) kalıplarını öğreneceğiz.
Kurallar ve Örnekler
- Opposite (Karşısında): İki nesne veya mekanın birbirine tam bakması durumunda kullanılır.
The bank is opposite the post office. (Banka, postanenin karşısındadır.) - Between (…arasında): İki şeyin veya mekanın tam ortasında olmayı belirtir.
The cafe is between the library and the park. (Kafe, kütüphane ile park arasındadır.) - Round the corner (Köşeyi dönünce / Köşede): Çok yakın, hemen köşede olduğunu belirtir.
The chemist’s is round the corner. (Eczane köşeyi dönünce / hemen köşededir.)
Sık Yapılan Hatalar
Hata: *The bank is opposite to the post office.*
Doğru: The bank is opposite the post office. (Opposite kelimesinden sonra ‘to’ kullanılmaz!)
