En İyiler (Süperlatifler) Dünyasına Hoş Geldiniz!
İngilizcede üç veya daha fazla nesne ya da kişiyi karşılaştırırken en üstün olanı belirtmek için süperlatif (en üstünlük) yapılarını kullanırız. Bu derste iki ana kural öğreneceğiz:
1. Kısa Sıfatlar (-est)
Tek heceli veya iki heceli olup ‘-y’ ile biten sıfatların başına ‘the’ getirilir ve sonuna ‘-est’ eklenir.
- Tall (Uzun) ➔ The tallest (En uzun)
- Big (Büyük) ➔ The biggest (En büyük)
- Easy (Kolay) ➔ The easiest (En kolay)
2. Uzun Sıfatlar (the most)
İki veya daha fazla heceli uzun sıfatların önüne ise ‘the most’ getirilir, sıfat değişmez.
- Expensive (Pahalı) ➔ The most expensive (En pahalı)
- Beautiful (Güzel) ➔ The most beautiful (En güzel)
- опасны / Dangerous (Tehlikeli) ➔ The most dangerous (En tehlikeli)

- Istanbul is the biggest city in Turkey. (İstanbul Türkiye’deki en büyük şehirdir.)
- This is the most expensive car in the shop. (Bu, dükkandaki en pahalı araba.)
Yaygın Hatalar
Süperlatif yaparken başa ‘the’ takısını koymayı asla unutmayın! Yanlış: Istanbul is biggest city. Doğru: Istanbul is the biggest city.
